Note: When Vikram Phadnis presents a collection it is filled with the glitter and glamour that only he can create. The show opened with fellow designer, Manish Malhotra taking to the ramp in a sharply tailored velvet jacket followed by a one button vent less jacket for evening wear. Women's wear started with a puff sleeve plunging neckline dress and soon there ere several variations of dresses, shifts, minis with either velvet or taffeta worn with shrugs, cummerbunds, corsets, jackets, pinafores, jumpsuits and smocks. The eye-catchers were the giant sized flaky coloured bags and the zardosi embroidery knee high boots which were teamed with many of the minis. Vikram presented his show stopper on Amrita Arora who glided in wearing a black taffeta gown with panels of zardosi embroidery on the bodice. Once again Vikram Phadnis proved that when it comes to stunning garments he has few equals in that genre.
