'CORPORATE' MUSIC RELEASED AT PLANET M

Versatile playback singer Asha Bhosle released the music of Sahara One Motion Pictures 'CORPORATE' at a glittering event at Planet M on Thursday May 25, 2006 along with Director Madhur Bhandarkar, Music director Shamir Tandon, playback singer Kailash Kher Shontanu Aditya, CEO, Sahara One Media Entertainment and Limited *and *Sandeep Bhargava, Chief Operating Officer - Sahara One Motion Pictures.

'Corporate' is an expose, tackling the underbelly of the world of business and the film's music reflects all that goes on behind the glittering, glossy exterior of corporate world.

Shamir Tandon, who had previously composed music for 'Page 3', has composed music of 'Corporate'. The 'Corporate' tracks are a heady mix of racy and soothing numbers sung by talented and renowned names like Asha Bhonsle, Kailash Kher, Sapna Mukherjee, Alisha Chinai, Vasundhara Das and Gary Lawyer.

Talking about the music of the film, Director Madhur Bhandarkar states "Music is a very essential part of any film and it follows the flow of the film. The songs take the narration of the film forward and thus form an integral part of the film as a whole."

"Scoring music for non-musical subjects is very difficult. Madhur Bhandarkar makes hard hitting realistic cinema and it's not possible to place unwanted songs in his films. All tracks that we compose are very relevant and brief-driven. Madhur and my musical tastes match and with him I get a free hand to recreate melodies of the past. We got a lot of critical acclaim for our music in 'Page 3' and I pray that our audiences at large appreciate our music in Corporate as well" says Music Director Shamir Tandon.

Shontanu Aditya, CEO, Sahara One Motion Pictures adds, "Bollywood is now ready to experiment with unconventional cinema and 'Corporate' is our endeavor towards contributing to a meaningful movie experience. The music of 'Corporate' is in perfect sync with the film's story and all songs are in characteristic Madhur Bhandarkar style".

Sandeep Bhargava, says, we have tasted success with the wining combination of Madhur Bhandarkar and Shamir Tandon, earlier with 'Page 3' and hope to achieve the same, once again, with CORPORATE. The key is to make music that gels with the script and story which Shamir manages to achieve flawlessly yet again.

The theme song of the film, Lamha Lamha Zindagi Hai, is sung by Asha Bhonsle is reminiscent of old time melodies and play as background score throughout the film. Kailash Kher and Sapna Mukherjee have sung a pop qawali by which is a fun dance track and very catchy. This particular track has three versions -the original, a desi remix and a mix by musicians in the UK .. Alisha Chinai has sung the interesting title song with Gary Lawyer while Vasundhara Das has sung a groovy number too.

The film is presented and produced by SAHARA ONE MOTION PICTURES with Percept Picture Company as the Executive Producers. The film stars Bipasha Basu and Kay Kay Menon in the lead and boasts of a talented star cast which includes Rajat Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Harsh Chhaya, Minissha Lamba and Sameer Dattani.

The music has been distributed by UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP and is available at all leading music stores across India.

The film would be released Nationwide in July, 2006
