Hrithik Roshan is back again as our Star of the Week. His new film, Koi Mil Gaya just released yesterday in cinema's across the globe.
In the film, Hrithik plays the main character Rohit, a 19 year old man with the mind of an 11 year old boy, who interestingly enough befriends an alien from outer space. Now if taking on this part wasn't difficult enough, add to it the fact that Hrithik was filming not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4, yes 4 films simultaneously. So how much time did Hrithik have to prepare for this perplexing role? Just 3 days! Amazing! How did he manage to do it, and do it well, in that short amount of time?
"I locked myself up for three days and dredged up all the childhood memories I could. I needed to find the child within me. I got lost in the character and became Rohit. He's the closest I've ever come to a person in my life."

Now that is intense acting for you. And it will be put to the test as movie goers everywhere hit the theatres to see this out of the ordinary film. Experimenting with unconventional roles may be exciting, but actors take a big risk in doing so. It could turn out to be the greatest role or the worse. Let's hope for the former in Hrithik's case.
The reviews look good so far after just one day. The credit goes to Hrithik's emotional and free-spirited portrayal of a man-child in this cruel and often stigmatizing world we live in today. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and have your heartstrings tugged at when you go to see this film. If you really let yourself be free for the time your there, you just might find the child within you. If you do, embrace him/her and enjoy being a kid again. After all what's better than to see life through the eyes of a child.
All the best to Hrithik in making Koi Mil Gaya a smash hit
