Esha Deol unlike Mama Deol is quite outspoken and particular about what she wants to say, maybe it is the close friendship that she shares with Kareena, which has given her this attitude. Inspite of a bad start Esha has been getting producers outside her house in queues signing her for their films. She has been a classical dancer since she was young, and has also performed on several occasions with her mother and sister. Esha always wanted to make it big in the movies. She loved watching her dad and mom perform and secretly had this fantasy of one day seeing herself on the large screen. She has her mother's eyes, and her father's personality, which is outgoing and fun loving. 'Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche' which was her launch vehicle hardly gave her any scope to emote and prove her acting ability. The film took too long in the making, and during its shoot, she got involved emotionally with fellow co-star Aftaab Shivdasani, which made papa Dharam a bit uneasy. Esha had high hopes on the film, and the critics appreciated Sanjay Kapoor's role more than Esha's. Though disappointed with the results she didn't sulk or go into hibernation. She accepted the verdict of the people and gave interviews proclaiming that she hardly expected the movie to do well. This week sees the release of a very important movie for her, 'Na Tum Jaano Na Hum'. The movie has her opposite the one time craze of the nation Hrithik Roshan, and their onscreen chemistry has been talk of the town since the promos started showing. The reviews are just in and though the film has been criticized for a weak script and mediocre plot, Esha's role has been well appreciated by all. She looks a lot better than her debut film, and there is enough scope here for her to prove her acting prowess. If the film manages to strike gold at the box-office then nothing like it, but if it flops then Esha would have to strive harder in her next release, 'Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa' to convince the audience that she has finally arrived. She has the right look, and the grace that a heroine needs. Her glamorous image also looks quite ravishing in the promos.
