There has been no doubt that the good looking and charming son of Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan does pose a challenge to his contemporaries like Tusshar Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and new coming stars. He has the magnetic looks, his father's inherited sexual appeal, and a right dose of Indian looks blended with a sophisticated foreign upbringing.
His debut film 'Prem Aggan' wasn't a 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai' for him, yet he was noticed and it opened new doors for him. After Ram Gopal Verma's 'Jungle' Fardeen tasted the sweet taste of success, and he was repeated in Ramu's next film opposite Urmila, 'Pyaar tune kya kiya'. Here again his role as a husband torn betweeen the fatal attraction of a girl and the devotion of his wife was well appreciated. Some critics who initially had dismissed him off as just a good looker, suddenly sat up and started noticing his acting abilities.

The media has always loved to know what kind of a private life Fardeen has lived. Some time back he was in the media for a case where he was questioned on the topic of possesing drugs. Fardeen managed to come out of it, thanks to his sincerity and truthfullness. His family supported him through thick and thin, and Fardeen learnt a lesson that he would never forget.
This week sees the release of his new film, 'Kitne Door... Kitne Paas' which is carrying positive reports. If this film works, then nothing like it. It would do him a lot of good, since he hasn't had a major hit in recent times. Fardeen has admitted that he some flaws and is no Shahrukh Khan, and is taking efforts in improving his diction and dancing. He is definitely one of the hottest stars right now. His failure at the box-office hasn't reduced his fan following, and his every move is carefully monitored by his admirers. Heres hoping that like his dad, Fardeen carves a place for himself in this industry full of thorns and difficulties.
