Article Updated 21 March, 2004 04:48:08 PM IST   Zayed Khan By Our Correspondent ©2004 Bollyvista.com   Unlike his relative, Hrithik Roshan, Zayed Khan (his sister, Suzanne, is married to Hrithik) did not entirely succeed in becoming an overnight sensation with his launchpad 'Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne'. Co-starring Esha Deol, the film failed at the turnstiles, and this Sanjay Khan progeny found no takers! Sadly, his performance did not fetch rave reviews either! Zayed is awaiting his second release and for a fresh lease of life. These days, he is banking heavily on Shah Rukh Khan's home-production 'Main Hoon Na', in which he essays the superstar's younger brother. He plays a college-goer who has a whale of a time when his elder brother, who is obviously a misfit because of his age, decides to get back to college with him and do some of the things youngsters do! 'Main Hoon Na' could well be a make or break film for Zayed even though he is not the principal protagonist. He has also shot a substantial amount of Deepak Shivdasani's 'Idiot' opposite Celina Jaitley but the film has been stalled for the last few months as Zayed has refused to allot dates. The rumour is that he is not happy with the way the film has shaped up so far. Also, he did not want 'Idiot' to release before 'Main Hoon Na'. Zayed will also start work on Satish Kaushik's 'Vaada' for producer Vashu Bhagnani, in which his co-stars include Arjun Rampal and Amisha Patel. We also hear of a home-production his father is planning to make for him.
