Bollywood's successful, gorgeous and accomplished Manisha Koirala is the star of the week for making an enterprise debut as a film producer with 'Paisa Vasool' starring Manisha (herself) with Sushmita Sen and Sushant Singh. The film is reportedly a remake of 'Low Lives and High Heels', and is Manisha's stepping stone into the production arena.
Manisha , who hails from an influential political family in Nepal, began her career with Subhash Ghai in his 'Saudagar' and went on to work with the industry's topmost filmmakers, from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Mani Rathnam. All the top actors have been her co-stars. Of late, however, the 'nepali kanchi' has been embroiled in a number of controversies relating to her professional and personal life. Moreover, featuring in a number of unsuccessful B-grade films like 'Market', 'Escape From Taliban' and 'Ek Chhoti Si Love Story' and not taking care of her growing girth, has got her severe flak.
However, Manisha is undeterred. She intends to continue production and is planning her next projects. On the acting front, she has several projects on hand, including the eagerly awaited biography of Indira Gandhi by Nittin 'Gadar' Keni. She couldn't have asked for more as she appears to have found stability in her relationship with her London-based boyfriend, Cecile Anthony!
