AARTI CHHABRIA may not have as yet made a noise in Bollywood, but the girl is not giving up. Read on for the excerpts of her chat with Vickey Lalwani:

Do you think that your debut film needs to be blamed?
In my debut film 'Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai', I played a simple middle-class girl. In my second film and thereafter, I played glamorous roles. Most of my films did not get adequate publicity. How can I gauge before start if the project will get sufficient publicity or not?

In hindsight, do you feel that you should have done bare-all, dare-all stuff?
I would never be comfortable with such scenes. I am not desperate. Some heroines may have done it, but excuse me, I will not.

Never?
If it is a Mahesh Bhatt or a Subhash Ghai or a Yash Chopra film, then maybe I will think about it, simply because they do it in a very classy manner.

You had a major tiff with Riya Sen during 'Shaadi No.1'. Have you patched up?
No way. Riya is a nice girl. If I had created a problem on David Dhawan's set, would he have signed me up for his next film? I have signed his next, starring Govinda and Salman.

Where did you disappear to in between?
I was here, although for a few months I devoted myself to South films. The industry started looking at me only after 'Shaadi No.1' and 'Teesri Aankh. The phone calls and invitations started up again at that point.

Are you ready to bounce back?
Definitely. Can I tell you that SRK noticed me? At the Zee awards, I was drawing backwards. SRK noticed this, called me and said not to worry.
