'Unns Dwells With The Sanctity of Marriage' - Rituparna Sengupta

After Gaining success in Bengali movies Rituparna Sengupta has now switched over to Bollywood. With the success of 'Main Meri Patni aur woh', soon the audience can see her in next up coming film 'UNNS'. Recently music of Bhupender Gupta's film 'UNNS' was launched at the JAM MULTIPLEX, SHIPRA MALL, GHAZIABAD and the stars of the movie were seen there, we got hold of Rituparna and asked her some questions and here's what she had to say.

Please tell us something about the movie 'Unns' and also the meaning of the word 'Unns'?
'Unns', stands for love, affection, passion. The movie dwells with the sanctity of marriage. Apart from being highly entertaining, romantic Emotional and Musical Melodrama the movie carries a social Message about the significance of marriage in one's life.

Tell us about your Character of yours in the movie 'Unns'?
I play a role of a model who falls in love with RISHI RAJPAL who is the owner of add agency but she decides later to get married to Rahul Malhotra.

How did you felt working with a debut director Bhupendra Gupta?
Bhupendra Gupta has worked very hard in making this movie. He is the one who has directed as well written the script of the film 'Unns'. It was a great feeling working with such a hardworking director.

Earlier you have worked in MAIN MERI PATNI AUR WHO in which you played a role of a married woman and even in this film you are playing a role of married woman any specific reason for it?
It's just a confidence that I have got role of married woman but I will be looking forward for good roles. Though I have played the role of married woman but both the characters are totally different.

Though you started your carrier with 'Teesra Koun' but still you consider your first film 'Main Meri Patni Aur...'?
I considered 'Main Meri Patni aur Woh' as the right start in the bollywood so considered as my first start.

You are Odissi dancer and also a performer so how do you manage all these things?
If you really wanna do something you have to take some time out for that.

You have received Nationals awards in Bengali movies. What do think about Hindi movies?
I don't work in this industry to receive. For Hindi films I feel that I just started my carrier with it.

Many Bengali actress are planning to switch over to Bollywood. What do you think about it?
Bengali Actress has always ruled the Bollywood be it Sharmila Tagore, Suchitra Sen, Jaya Bhaduri, Mausami Chatterji or the present generation Kajol, Rani Mukkherji or Bipasha basu.

Please tell us about your up coming movie?
I have 3 to 4 movies lined up for future.
