Shweta Kumar, the debut-making heroine of *Karzzzz*, is quite conspicuous by her near-absence in the film's promotion. Says Sweta Agnihotri of Big, "Karzzzz is basically a revenge drama rather than just a love story. We, therefore, decided to concentrate on Himesh Resham­miya and Urmila Matondkar who plays the vamp in the film."
