Bollywood is back to work

On its third day the Bollywood workers called off the strike. The protest was called on from 1st October onwards due to irregular payment structure and the hiring of non-union members. After a marathon four-hour discussion between the parties i.e. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and three of the producers associations the Film and TV Producers Guild (FTPG), the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed and the strike was called off.
