It is well known that Shah Rukh Khan and ace director from south Shankar were going to work together in 'Robot'. Eventually though, "things couldn't happen", according to King Khan and the two decided not to work together on this project. This left Shankar without any other choice but to come back to
Rajnikanth after Sivaji to work in 'Robot'. He is also casting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite Rajni.
SRK, not happy with this, has registered as many as 10 titles surrounding 'Robot' ('Robot', 'Robot Mera Naam', 'Main Hoon Robot', etc.) under his banner with the producers association. This has left Shankar with no other choice but to rename his next ambitious project. Lets see how "Tamil Robot" will sound now.
