Aamir and TZP skip IIFA this year

The only film awards ceremony, which film folks look forward to every year after Filmfare, is IIFA, which is an international event. It is also a known fact that Aamir Khan prefers to keep away from all award ceremonies.
So when the nominations of IIFA were announced the day before yesterday, it didn't raised any eyebrows after seeing that much acclaimed Taare Zameen Par was missing from all the major categories. However, what has surely surprised everyone is the fact that PVR pictures who were the co-producers of TZP are also one of the sponsors of IIFA.
