Arshad Warsi to turn director

Arshad Warsi will soon be a new addition to the list of actors turned directors. He is following Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol, Nana Patekar and Ajay Devgan. He is turning director with an as-yet-untitled film which he is producing himself. That's not all. He has written the story too.
The film will go on the floors by June and unlike the roles for which Arshad is famous for, this film is no comic caper but a serious film with message. The film was supposed to be directed by Jaideep Sen first but was replaced by Kabir Kaushik. Now it is learnt that since Kaushik is occupied with his assignments he won't be able to direct the film as per schedule. This left Arshad with no other choice but to direct the film himself.
