It seems the news of Saif Ali Khan and Sonu Sood performing daredevil stunts in Race and Singh Is Kinng respectively has inspired Salman Khan. Popular for removing his shirt and flaunting his muscles Salman Khan did a similar stunt as Saif and Sonu did in jumping from a high rise building and this one was risky too.
Prabhu Deva was directing Khan in Pokiri had initially planned on using a stuntman for the entire action sequence. But an overcharged Khan decided to do all the scenes himself. Our source from the unit reveals, "The shot required him to jump from a terrace while shooting at an assailant. The stuntman, was ready to do the sequence but, just as the camera was about to roll, Salman interrupted and said that he would do the stunt himself much to our surprise. He did the scene in just one take."
