SRK's Refuses No Smoking Demand

A few days back health minister Anbumani Ramadoss requested that Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan should not smoke either on screen or off screen. Reacting to this, Shah Rukh Khan has declined this request by the minister and has given this statement at the press conference during the French honour last night.
"I think there is a huge amount of creative freedom that should be allowed in cinema, it is make-believe ... we should not have huge censorship. Every time I'm in front of a television channel I always say, 'children, don't smoke, it kills you. It's the worst habit and I want to give it up as soon as possible."
SRK also stressed that he wasn't an advocate for smoking, even if the media requires him to light up occasionally.
