Welcome for Welcome in Mumbai Multiplexes

Feroz Nadiadwala's Welcome was the victim of a fight between the distributors and exhibitors in Mumbai over the same old revenue sharing issue. The film which opened worldwide on Friday couldn't be released in multiplexes of Mumbai. The good news is that the fight over the distribution rights ratio has been resolved and the film opened at all multiplexes from Saturday afternoon onwards.
The share between the distributors and exhibitors will be decided on later, depending on how the film fares at the box-office in its first week. Meanwhile on the other release of the week, Taare Zameen Par, the ban on the film has been lifted in Gujarat and screening of the film has started smoothly from Friday evening onwards.
