UP and Punjab Lift Ban on Aaja Nachle

Madhuri Dixit's comeback film Aaja Nachle kicked up controversy in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab for offending lyrics in a song. The film was banned in these two states on the day of its release itself. The ban has now been lifted in both the states following an apology by producer Yash Chopra who assured of deleting the offending lines. The lifting of ban proved beneficial for the film as it registered houseful shows in many places.
