For the Dus Kahaniyaan theme song 20 actors, a crowd of 3000 people, 100 dancers, 22 make artists, 20 hair stylists were involved over a three day shoot.
Dino, for his role in Dus Kahaniyaan, delayed the film by three weeks so he could make his abs perfect as he was required to be without a shirt for most part of the film.
Meghna Gulzar, to show authenticity, went to a small village close to Chandigarh to shoot for Pooranmashi. A real hut was used for the same.
Suniel Shetty and Sanjay Dutt shot for 5 days in the rain where Sanjay Dutt fell unwell while Suniel Shetty was fine. On probing a little more the team found out that Suniel Shetty had a wet suit under his normal clothes so he did not catch a cold.
For one of the short films Sanjay Gupta lent his Alibaug house but within a day he decided to cancel the same and an entirely new set of the house was constructed to complete the rest of the shoot.
Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin worked together after a gap of 18 yrs. Shabana had a special Tamil tutor who helped in her characterization.
Neha Dhupia made one of the actors in the film wash his hands 5 times as she had to lick the hand in the scene.
Jimmy being a methodical actor actually got drunk for a scene in the film.
