Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Arthouse Films' first film, 'The Great Indian Butterfly', has been selected for the closing day of the Indo-America Arts Council Film Festival happening in New York from the 7th to the 11th of November 2007.

White Feather Arthouse Films was started by Sanjay Gupta to promote independent cinema with daring content; to nurture talent in that realm and to give voice and platform for young filmmakers exploring new vistas.

'The Great Indian Butterfly' is directed by Sarthak Dasgupta (BE, MBA). Five years into the high flying corporate world, he realized, life needed a different definition. He left his cushy job and got down to writing and then gradually into directing. The lead cast includes Aamir Bashir, Sandhya Mridul, Koel Purie and Barry John.
