Sanjay Dutt gets a month-long relief

Sanjay Dutt, who was released on Thursday on interim bail, has received temporary relief. The TADA court in Mumbai will hand over a copy of the judgment order to Dutt on September 27th, which means he will be out of jail for over a month.
The process of handing over the copies begins from September 14th. September 27th is the day Sanjay gets his copy, as he was the last one to be sentenced. He will have to surrender to the authorities on the day he gets his copy.
Dutt and five others were granted interim bail by the Supreme Court on August 20th, on the grounds that they had not received their copies of the judgment.
