Irrfan Khan only wants lead roles

Irrfan Khan known for stealing shows with supporting roles in films like 'The Namesake' and 'Metro', now it seems, wants to do only lead roles.
Khan has backed himself out of director Tigmanshu Dhulia's next 'Shaagird', which also features Nana Patekar and Mohit Ahlawat. The reason being that he fears Patekar will overshadow him in this film, this coming after the success of 'The Namesake' and his role in it.
It may be recalled here that Tigmanshu Dhulia was the director who gave Irrfan one of his most acclaimed roles in 'Haasil', which brought the actor to limelight.
