Hema Malini will be honored with a retrospective, this year at the Bangkok International Film Festival (BIFF). The festival, to be held from the 19th to the 29th of July, will screen films in which Hema Malini acted, such as, Ramesh Sippy's 'Sholay', Sushil Majumdar's 'Lal Pathar', Basu Chatterji's 'Dillagi', Gulzar's 'Khushboo' and Ravi Chopra's 'Baghban'. This is the first time Hema Malini is being honoured with a retrospective in the 40 years of her illustrious career.

More than 100 films from 30 countries will feature in BIFF. Some of them include 'Rang De Basanti', 'Omkara' and the debut film of US-trained director Rajnesh Domalpalli - 'Vanaja'.
