Film financer Bharat Shah has been sent into judicial custody today, after being arrested by police in the early morning hours. He was arrested under a complaint filed by a security guard of the Royal Palms for using abusive language towards him in mid May. The complaint was lodged under Schedule Cast and Tribe Act, at the Aarey police station.

The court has ordered judicial custody for Shah until July 12th. Shah has financed and produced films like 'Border', 'Devdas' and 'China Gate'.
