Abhi-Ash wedding kickstarts with sangeet ceremony

The grand celebrations for the biggest Indian celebrity wedding of the year has begun.
The countdown to the much-awaited wedding of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai began on Wednesday night with the sangeet ceremony at the Bachchan’s residence Prateeksha.
Amitabh, the doting father and caring mother Jaya took everybody by surprise when they danced the final number to the legendary actor's all-time hit 'Kabhie Kabhie'. And to make it more romantic, they slow danced the waltz and the rumba to it amidst applause from the guests.
The musical piece, to which Abhishek and his bride-to be danced was the same number which Ash had waltz with her former beau Viviek Oberoi in 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Naa'.
The sangeet was attended by several Bollywood biggies including Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Sachin Tendulkar, Ajay Devgan with wife Kajol and Preity Zinta.
The media was placed away from the bungalow and got their pictures by clicking the celebrities arriving in their car.
