Talented actor Rushad Rana, who currently stars in a plethora of television serials, is making his presence felt with the prestigious DOR by Nagesh Kukunoor. Playing Gul Panag's husband away in the gulf, this is the most significant film role Rushad has had, and is getting quite good reviews for his undersized but strong performance!

"The entire experience was superb, we shot in Jodhpur and Himachal Pradesh, it was great learning. I had gone for the audition of both Gul and Ayesha's husbands roles, and I actually didn't think I would get it, because relatively I'm still a newcomer when it comes to films, but then after 2 weeks I got a call saying I'm selected to play Gul's husband and after that I've been on a great high! It was just great to be part of such a creative unit and hopefully after my hard work in DOR, I should be doing more film based work now!" says the excited Rushad.

Though the film centers on Gul and Ayesha, Rushad's character is the impetus that drives the storyline, with his character being mentioned through the film.

Rushad is currently the superb main lead 'Dhruv' in Hare Kaanch Ki Chudiyan on Sahara One and the powerful spoilt brat in Rishton Ki Dorr on Star Plus. Staring his career with the extremely successful and popular Hip, Hip, Hurray, Rushad has definitely jumped leaps and bounds acting wise and the shape of his career is looking good from where we see it! Keep it up Rushad!
