Konkona's opening scene jinxed

Madhur Bhandarkar has a funny problem with his latest film 'Traffic Signal'. First, the rains played havoc and he had to cancel his shoot. Then, two eunuchs and two beggars ran away leaving a scene half-finished. Now, his efforts to shoot a sequence with Konkona Sen Sharma and a gay character played by Manish Mehta at a bus stop continue to run into a roadblock, also because of unexpected rain showers. It is Konkona's introduction scene, as she plays a prostitute in the film.

This has happened continuously at a specially erected set in Karjat, near Pune. For the last three schedules, Bhandarkar has been trying to shoot this important sequence, but in vain. He manages to shoot only half a scene, and then it starts raining and the scene is left incomplete. But the moment he starts on another scene, the rain surprisingly stops. Are the rain-gods listening?
