On the release day of the movie 'The Killer', the 'serial kisser' Emraan Hashmi was there to promote his movie. Obviously, when Emraan Hashmi is present in a movie, the movie is bound to be sensational, starting with 'Murder', then 'Zeher', 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne', 'Chocolate', 'Aksar', 'Kalyug', 'Jawani Diwani', 'Gangster' and now 'The Killer'. 'The Killer' is produced by Mukesh Bhatt and directed by Hasnain S. Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry under the banner of Vishesh Films.

Talking about his role in the movie, the actor said that he plays the role of a young guy 'Nikhil Joshi' who goes to Dubai with the dream of becoming a rich man. However, he ends up as a taxi driver in Dubai, and falls madly in love with a girl named Rhea. So smitten with her that he is willing to do anything for his great love. However, life had some other plans for him.

Irfan Khan, who plays the role of Vikram hails the cab and holds Joshi hostage in a bizarre plot to bump off various people who could identify him against the dreaded don Jabbar, who is at risk of being deported to India to face charges against him. Nikhil, being the helpless witness to one killing after another, finds his life and dreams crumbling around him. How Nikhil fights to save himself from this dangerous situation is what 'The Killer' is all about.

Commenting about the USP of the movie, the much in-demand actor says, "many good projects are coming together, what I feel the audience will like the best (in the movie), will be the dialogues and the chemistry between the hero and the killer." He added, "'The Killer' is what everybody can relate to."

He informed that his upcoming movies are Mukta Arts 'Good Boy Bad Boy', 'Train', 'Awarapan' and few more which have not been titled yet. Trying to analyze the reason for his continuous hits, Emraan divulges the secret. "It's my inner instinct to choose a movie. The next factor is about the convincing power of the director."

According to the people who have worked with Emraan, they say, "The guy restricts the cinema to the sets; he never takes it back home."

The aspiring hero is always looking for different roles, as he hates doing the typical righteous hero, who in the end wins the game and happily takes away the heroine.

Words like commitment and marriage don't really exist in the dictionary of Emraan Hashmi's 'serial kisser' image. But it may come as a surprise to many that the man who has a smooching image on screen has actually been in a serious relationship with his longtime girlfriend and will be tying the knot in December.
