Rains cancel Karan Johar's 'KANK' shoot

Heavy rains in Mumbai on July 4th stranded thousands of people. Bollywood was not spared either. Work could not proceed as per the original plan in most cases.
Karan Johar is racing against time to complete the shooting of his film 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna', which is set to release on August 11th. The downpour, which brought life virtually to a standstill (water-logging, no trains, delayed flights, no electricity) made Karan cancel the shooting of the Rock 'N' Roll song.
The Rock 'N' Roll song has the complete cast of the film - Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan.
At 1 pm, Karan took the final call to cancel the shooting. Though Preity and Abhishek had managed to turn up, Rani and Shah Rukh were stuck in traffic and looked like they wouldn't be able to make it to the shooting for a few more hours. Amitabh Bachchan too could not make it.
