Bobby Deol will be with Salman Khan's girlfriend Katrina Kaif in Jaisalmer. While Katrina will return after seven or eight days, Bobby will stay for twenty-five days. The man who makes this possible is Samir Karnik, who directed the much talked about 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na', starring Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai who were madly in love then.

Deol and Kaif have been cast together in Karnik's next venture titled 'Nanhe Jaisalmer'. K Sera Sera will produce the film. Shooting starts tomorrow.

Speaking from Jaisalmer, Karnik reveals, "The film revolves around Bobby and a 10-year old kid Dwijyadev. I can't reveal the story at this point of time, but basically the kid has a lot to do and it's a very entertaining film. He calls himself as Nanhe Jaisalmer and keeps telling everybody that he and his camel are the best in Jaisalmer."

Karnik has known Bobby for a long time. "I've known him since the days of 'Kareeb' where I was assisting in direction. He is a fine actor and we share a very good equation."

Kaif does not have much of a role. "I will be needing her for a maximum of seven days. There are a few songs, which I need to picturized on her."

Kaif was supposed to star with her boyfriend Salman Khan in Karnik's 'Meri Love Story', which Salman was scripting. That film is supposedly based on Salman's real life incidents.

What happened to that film? According to sources, Salman's hair problem has pushed back all his assignments and he is unable to give the green signal to anything new until he finishes the backlog.

Says Karnik, "After finishing his films, which are midway today, he will do 'Meri Love Story'. So, 'Meri Love Story' could be the next film I make."

"What happened was that Salman's secretary Vikas Kapoor does designing in films for K Sera Sera. Through him, 'Nanhe Jaisalmer' happened. I myself have scripted the film," he adds.

The film, set to tunes by Himesh Reshammiya, will be completed in a single schedule in Jaisalmer. "Bobby is reaching Jaisalmer, day after tomorrow. 'Nanhe Jaisalmer' is a kick-ass film. I can't wait for it to start. I am aiming for a July release," the director signed off.
