'Matrubhoomi' to hit theatres in June

Producer Pankaj Kharbanda and presenter Boney Kapoor's controversial 'Matrubhoomi' directed by Manish Jha, starring Tulip Joshi and Sushant Singh will hit the theatres in June. The film has been dubbed in six languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Bhojpuri and Gujarati.
It explores a futuristic rural India, wherein due to rampant female infanticide, women are practically extinct. The impact of the absence of women on men sees them finding alternative sources of release - pornography, homosexuality, bestiality and violence.
