Madhur Bhandarkar drops 'Extra'

The latest news is Madhur Bhandarkar has dropped the idea of making 'Extra'. Earlier Bhandarkar had said, "I'm working on a subject called 'Extra'. It's the story of a husband, a wife and a mistress." Says Bhandarkar, basking in the glory of the unprecedented success of 'Page 3', "Not 'Extra', but rest assured, I will stick to my realistic genre of filmmaking. My next film will be equally shocking and hard-hitting."
Watch this space for more on the man who has come out from hell. Not so long ago, an aspiring starlet Preeti Jain had him taken into police custody, alleging that he had made her the victim of "the casting couch".
