Contrary to his brooding image, Irrfan Khan has gone ahead and signed a comedy. Irrfan takes the plunge into comedy with '7 1/2 Pheras', a film which will see him in stark contrast to his recent intense roles in 'Haasil', 'Maqbool' and 'Rog'.
The film, which also stars Juhi Chawla, shows a typical wedding in an Indian middle-class family being covered on a TV network. '7 1/2 Pheras' also stars Manini De, Chahat Khanna, Anang Desai and Neena Kulkarni. Debutante director Isshaan Trivedi will direct it.
