History has repeated itself in a way after three years. Ashutosh
Gowariker's 'Lagaan' and Anil Sharma's 'Gadar' were released in the summer
of 2001 and both were stupendous hits.
In sharp contrast, Gowariker's 'Swades' and Sharma's 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo' were released during the winter of 2004 and both have been major disasters at the
box-office.
