How the four Diwali releases are faring so far?

While 'Aitraaz' and 'Mughal-E-Azam' (at No. 3 & 4 respectively) are finding the going tough, in relative terms (only), 'Naach' has moved up to No. 2 having found immense appreciation with the media as well. Again, in relative terms, 'Veer-Zaara' is at No. 1, though the response is pretty mixed. Having distributed the film themselves, Yashraj has made money on the table having bagged fancy MGs (minimum guarantees) from exhibitors (and might want to proclaim it as a hit!). But going by the initial response, exhibitors in several centers might possibly lose money with smaller centers like Nashik, Solapur and Ahmedabad not going house-full even on the first day! The big question also is if the demand will be able to sustain the 700-odd prints!
