'Raincoat' - making India proud

The London film festival has decided to open their 2004 season with Rituparno Ghosh's 'Raincoat'. Never before has an Indian film been selected as the festival's opening night film.
'Raincoat', which is Rituparno's first Hindi film, stars Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgan in the main lead. It was also in competition in the recently concluded Karlovy Vary film festival.
Commenting on the honour bestowed to the film, director Rituparno Ghosh said, "I am feeling proud as an Indian."
