'Phir Milenge' vs. 'Dhoom'

The Salman Khan magic doesn't seem to be working this time with 'Phir Milenge' gathering a poor run in most parts of India. That is primarily on account of the non-commercial subject. The film, however, has found immense critical acclaim in the media, which has given a star rating of 3+ stars to Revathy's sensitive piece of work. Even performance-wise, the film will be remembered. Conversely, 'Dhoom' managed a strong opening (thanks to the Yash Raj tag) and words like "decent", "time-pass", "somewhat entertaining" are being used. The reviews in the media are not complimentary however.
