Shah Rukh Khan - UNICEF icon for children's health

Celebrities have always played an important part of advocacy campaigns by UN organizations in giving public health messages. Amitabh Bachchan is the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and has done polio campaigns. Other UNICEF ambassadors include actors Jackie Chan, Jessica Lange and Roger Moore, along with singers Harry Bellefonte and Ricky Martin.
Now, it has Shah Rukh Khan working for its cause too. SRK will be shooting three health public service announcements on child immunization. As the proud papa of two beautiful children himself, he knows how important this issue of well-being is for all children worldwide.
