Maid jailed for making a clean sweep!

Bollywood actor Rohit Roy's maid, Praveena D'Souza thought she had made a clean sweep when she robbed her employer of Rs 2.32 lakh on July 26th at his Lokhandwala Complex apartment.
After the complaint was lodged two days later, police searched, found and nabbed D'Souza at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, as she was about to board a train to Bangalore. But D'Souza did not have the incriminating evidence on her. After a brief appearance before a metropolitan magistrate on July 29th, she was subsequently held in police custody for seven days. However, she gave officers the slip, as she was being escorted to the restroom the very next day.
It didn't take long for the authorities to discover that D'Souza's brother-in-law lived at Ganesh Nagar in Kandivli (East). So once again they closed in and this time nabbed Praveena's husband Deve Gouda, who was carrying Rs 1.91 lakh. Praveena's second arrest wasn't far behind, as she was found sleeping at another relative's house, only 100 meters from where her husband had been apprehended.
