By now, Akshay Kumar along with director Guddu Dhanoa and Goan pop music icon Remo Fernandes must be wishing the words were never uttered in the first place. Because of derogatory language used in a song from the film 'Aflatoon', bailable warrants of Rs 500 were executed on July 27th against each one of them, by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Narendra Jain in Indore.
The original complaint (civil suit - September 1997) was filed by Advocate Shailendra Dwiwedi, under section 292 and 294 of the IPC. Since then both summons and warrants have been issued a total of six times, including this one. But now the court has decided to get tough and give top priority to the case. The hearing date has been set for October 11th.
