Actress Pooja Bhatt has returned with her first ever presentation as a producer Sur - The Melody Of Life directed by Tanuja Chandra. Pooja has kept a low profile of the movie so far but soon will be campaigning, as the movie is about to the hit the silver screen.
The movie has singer turned actor Lucky Ali in the lead who will soon be seen in quite a few movies in near time. The movie also introduces Gauri Karnik. Lucky plays Vikramaditya who is a famous and successful singer and a music teacher. He is also a visionary of a music school where he wishes to produce such a student who can outnumber his voice and his music. This according to him will be his real victory.
His dream remains a dream until he meets Tina Marie (Gauri Karnik) a small town girl singing like an angel in a church choir. Tina Marie's silky voice enchants Vikramaditya and he resolves to train her as he sees sparks in her that would make him fulfil his dream.
During the time of her training Tina who is already dazzled by Vikramaditya falls in love with him. Tina is already a hit with her silky and beautiful voice. Praises shower in for her from all the sides. Vikramaditya grows insecure with the Tina's growing popularity and he gradually starts becoming jealous of her.
The dark part takes its toll and he starts competing with Tina and tries to pull her spirits down by criticizing her singing. He even goes to the extent of stealing one of the compositions of Tina under his name. Shattered and heart-broken Tina goes back to where she came from. And it is that stolen song which comes out as a huge hit of Vikramaditya's album. Vikramaditya confronts his ugliness, and his soul subjects himself to self-realisation.
He rushes to get back Tina only to find she is undergoing training and all set to become a nun. He tries to convince her by apologizing for his abnormal behaviour and by asking her to come back to the school. Tina however tries to resist him but is unable to sustain the resistance for long. After a great deal of persuading she agrees to go with him just for one live stage performance.
The date is set, concert organised and the auditorium filled but before Tina could start singing she finds Vikramaditya gone. The organisers coax her to go for a solo performance.
Tina sings magically in her silky voice thereby, spell bounding the audience. Faraway from the uproar of the applauding people, Vikramaditya breaks out sitting in his car as he has finally given the world a student who is far better than him. Her success becomes his success and his joy knows no bounds.
The movie also stars Simone Singh, Achint Kaur, Divya Dutta, Harsh Vashisht and Ehsaan Khan, the music is by the Criminal fame M.M. Kreem.
