For the first time, producer, Prakash Jha has someone other than himself direct a movie for his production house. Naseeruddin Shah's son Imaad also debuts as a leading man in this film (though he had played a character role in 'Yun Hota To Kya Hota').
Set in the Delhi university campus, Apurv (Imaad Shah) and Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade) are two hostellers. While Apurv is a rich city guy, Sanjay is an old fashioned person from Bihar and is involved in politics. To escape from ragging rituals, Apurv visits a prostitute, Vaishali (Smriti Mishra) at night. While in the day, he woos a schoolgirl, Kintu (Ishita Sharma). Sanjay falls for a rich ambitious model, Prerna (Nikita Anand). That's all there is to it as far as the plot is concerned.
Cinematography by Arvind K is average, music by Siddharth – Suhas doesn't impress, the editing is tacky and atrocious and the writing mediocre!

Imaad Shah looks anything but the Casanova character he essays. Shreyas Talpade gives an uninspiring performance. Newcomers Ishita Sharma and Nikita Anand though are good. Smriti Mishra also gives a fine performance as the prostitute.
Debutant director Manish Tiwari makes a bore of a film. Be it story telling, technique or production values, this film falters in all aspects. All through, the audience waits to see what happens next. The wait continues even as the end credits roll!
