Lal (Sunil Pal) and Das (Vijay Raaz) are two friends. Lal dreams of hitting big time, while Das is a driver who has just lost his job. With the Rs.2 lakhs that Lal wins in a Jackpot, they together put up a travel agency, operating a bus service from Bombay to Goa. The bus is created from spare parts, which they source from Chor Bazaar! The bus obviously is junk on wheels, about which the passengers constantly crib. En route, a character (Mac Mohan) dies in an accident. But not before telling the passengers about a hidden treasure. The rest of the film is about the mad rush by everybody to lay their hands on the booty. If you think that this film is a remake or is based on the Bachchan starrer "Bombay to Goa", you will be sorely disappointed. In fact it seeks inspiration from the Hollywood blockbuster, It's a Mad Mad Mad World!

Director Raj Pendurkar in a recent interview mentioned that, in the film one wouldn't see the director or anybody else...one would only see the actors and their performance. He couldn't be farther from the truth! In fact other than the director, one will also fail to find the scriptwriter as well! Too many characters are introduced without any reason and to top it all they don't get much to do as well! The dialogues are unbearable and the scenes are stretched beyond comprehension. Apart from a few scenes the rest of the film is equivalent to Chinese torture! The film also features Tinu Anand, Shakti Kapoor, Raju Shrivastav, Ehsaan Qureshi, Naveen Prabhakar and Rauf Lala. It is little consolation that apart from the title track there are no songs in the film! This one is surely a Journey to a mental asylum. Rating: * (One star)
