Once upon a time in Mumbai lived a young man. The ambitious young man turned TV serial producer. He met with huge success. He was encouraged....he then turned Music director. Aap Kaa Surroor: The Moviee: The Real Luv Story is about HR, a hugely successfully singer. He is in Germany as part of his world tour. The concert has been arranged by Khuran (Darshan Jariwala) and his partner Ruby (Mallika Sherawat). Accidently he one day meets the media planner Riya (Hansika Motwani). They hopelessly fall in love with each other.
 
Meanwhile a journalist who is hell bent on interviewing HR is murdered and the prime suspect is none other than HR!

The dead girl's father (Raj Babbar) is convinced that HR is the killer.  Riya's father (Sachin Khedekar) also thinks the same. He decides to get her married off elsewhere. He asks Ruby, who is also a lawyer, to help him prove his innocence. Believe it or faint even she is in love with him!

How he escapes prison, proves his innocence and wins back Riya form the crux of the story.

Raj Babbar, Sachin Khedekar and Shravan comprise the rest of the cast.

The plot is as filmy as it gets. Filmed in Germany, the first half of the moviee meanders aimlessly. It is in the second half that the film gets interesting as the plot gets thicker! You might wonder who the real culprit in the plot is....it's the screenplay writer.
 
Technically its an average fare.

Hansika Motwani looks good and also performs ably. Mallika Sherawat does her bit in her minuscule role.

Himesh hams so much, he might as well be rechristened HAM-esh Reshammiya! Though towards the second half his performance improves considerably.

Himesh at least lives up to his reputation of being a chartbuster music director. The musical score is exceptional!

But kudos to the man on doing what he believed in! Changing professions, when one is actually at the peak of one, is not actually everyone's cup of tea!

The humungous publicity is bound to ensure a tremendous opening. But that's all there is to it. Watch it...but at your own risk!
