The film promises loads of entertainment but it makes you wonder why the guys are behaving in that fashion on screen. Agreed the foursome share a superb on-screen chemistry and have perfect comic timing but hey what is the idea behind all the gags? The audience is bound to wonder.

In a nutshell, this is a comedy film with no story or basic plot. Nothing happens in the film except in the last 15 minutes. To say that the film takes a lot of cinematic liberties would be an understatement!

Now for the story. The film revolves around four guys; Gopal (Ajay Devgan), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Mahadev (Arshad Warsi), and Laxman (Sharman Joshi) who are long time friends. They are aimless and con people for fun and money.

Gopal is the wisest of the lot while Laxman is very sincere and God-fearing. They are also fleeing from a person to whom they owe money. On one of these escapades, they discover an isolated bungalow inhabited by an old, blind couple (Paresh Rawal, and Sushmita Mukherjee), whose son, daughter-in-law and grandson are in the US.

Gopal and his friends force themselves in the bungalow and make Laxman pretend that he's Sameer, the blind couple's grandson. What's hilarious is that Laxman is Sameer in person while his voice is Gopal. Let's not get into the reasoning because it's as ridiculous as the film.

Will the real grandson arrive in typical filmi style? Wait and watch, that's if you're really interested.

The foursome fall in love with the same girl, Nirali (Rimi Sen), so indulge in one-upmanship all the time. There's a gangster who tries to break into the bungalow. The reason is revealed in the end.

One day the foursome discover a treasure chest and a lot is revealed at this point.

Although the film has a whole leaves a lot to be desired, there are some really hilarious scenes that stand out. The four guys presenting their Valentine Day gift to Nirali, the flashback song in black and white when Paresh Rawal recounts his love story with Sushmita Mukherjee to the four guys, when Laxman gives poison-laden tea to Gopal to kill him but someone else steals it, a takeoff on 'Black' by Ajay Devgan and Arshad Warsi when Mohan Joshi comes to Paresh Rawal's house. Also the way the two of them slap him in succession is funny.

Now for the performances. The four main guys are excellent. Tusshar excels as a dumb character. Manoj Joshi is good but goes slightly over the top at times. Paresh Rawal, unfortunately is very subdued. Rimi doesn't get much scope. Vrajesh Hirjee is genuinely funny.

Let's wait and watch the fate of this film at the box office.
