Sense of enjoyment in Hariyali Teej

India is a diverse country with multicultural land.Each religion brings us a reason to celebrate with joyous of celebration. Hariyali Teej, being one of the Indian Festival. Hariyali Teej is an Indian Festival which is celebrated on the third day of the bright fortnight of the Lunar Hindu month of savan. The festival which has a great importance for the women and girls indicates the beginning of Monsoon in India. This festival is dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, commemorating her union with Lord Shiva. Goddess Parvati is worshipped by seekers of conjugal bliss and happiness.

Celebration of Hariyali taaj was done At Ravi Shankar Prasad house where there was a huge gathering of Delhi celebrities to mark this festival organized by Delhi Study Group. The festival started with amazing performance of students. The colorful clothes especially green and red by the women spread the feel of festival in each individual present on this occasion. The festival was celebrated with great mirth and gaiety, singing songs and swinging in gardens, the folk songs that were sung covered subjects like rain, green land, cold breeze, house happiness of marital life etc. The event showed that the spirit of celebrating festivals still exists amongst youngsters and busy people.

Madhu Pandey gave her fabulous performance of Traditional Folk songs which spread the fragrance of festival in the air. The presence of Pratibha Adwani, Mr. and Mrs. Jayant Adwani, Sushma Swaraj, Mukhtar Abbas Naqbi, Mr. Kohli, Mukesh Gupta added glory to the event. Delhi Study Group's President Vijay Jolly, Siddarth Singh, Ex CBI Chief Jogendra Singh, Bag's Anuradha Prasad.
