Ayesha plays the character of Khushboo, a college girl and daughter of a rich industrialist who helps her colleague to go to the US for higher studies.

An Anil Samani presentation, the film stars Paresh Rawal, Jimmy Sheirgill, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ayesha Takia, Ratna Pathak Shah, Karran Khanna, Ankur Khanna, Ravi Baswani, Tinnu Anand & Suhasini Mulay

This film also marks the acting debut of Naseeruddin Shah's son Imaad Shah and Ace choreographer Saroj Khan.
