Zindaggi Rocks', B.A.G Film Ltd's first Bollywood venture will see Sushmita and Shiney portraying the characters of a singer and doctor respectively. Sushmita needs no introduction but one actor who has definitely taken the industry by surprise is Shiney Ahuja. His stupendous performance in 'Gangster' which incidentally was his first commercial foray received applaud galore. Not keeping his fans waiting he will soon be seen in yet another powerful performance in Anurradha Prasad's Zindaggi Rocks' Produced under the banner of B.A.G Films Ltd. Tanuja Chandra directs the film. Shiney plays a reclusive, shy, mostly cynical, workaholic Doctor who falls in love with a loud, friendly, a musical genius Sushmita Sen.
"It's a pure coincidence that the two films are releasing within a gap of four months," says Shiney. "What attracted me to the film was the script, working with Tanuja Chandra and B.A.G Films Ltd".
The other starcast in the film include Moushimi Chatterjee (in a double role), Kim Sharma, Seema Biswas and Ravi Gosain. A love story set in urban times showcases the life of two lovers.
Expressing her views, producer Anurradha Prasad says, "Shiney has a strong personality and is surely here to make a mark in Bollywood. His performance in Zindaggi Rocks' will surely establish him as an actor who is here to stay and grow in this competitive industry".
