Last year he was known as actor Shahid Kapur's father but this year after 'Maqbool', Shahid is known as Pankaj's son! Anyway, to even strike a comparison is ridiculous, as Pankaj, a supremely gifted actor, has been around for decades, doing soaps and comedies.
Generations have grown on successful serials such as 'Karamchand' and 'Zabaan Sambhaal Ke', with which he is synonymous. His latest serial 'Office Office' is a big hit as well and has bagged various honours. His comedy with Satish Kaushik on the countdown show 'Philips Top 10' was immensely popular.
