It was then that Pooja decided to turn director and join the ranks of the country's other female directors comprising Kalpana Lajmi, Aruna Raje, Tanuja Chandra, Shrabani Deodhar, Sai Paranjpe and many others. She repeated John Abraham and discovered model Udita Goswami (while scanning through 'Elle') in her debut directorial venture - 'Paap', which contains a sub-plot from Peter Weir's 'Witness'. Recently, she even married Munna, ex-Channel (V) VJ, at a quick ceremony in Goa.
Pooja's already planning her next project but for now she's hoping 'Paap' works. This time sadly, the box-office is playing truant with her. |
